How does the Web Design Process Work?
At Janet Studley Web Design every website is designed and built from scratch so you can be confident that your website will stand out from the crowd. All my websites are designed to be search engine friendly. This means using clean code with properly structured content and clear website navigation as part of the web design process. This ensures that the search engines can read and understand the content of your website.
Once we have decided on a website option or a tailormade solution (please contact me for details) that suits your needs, we will arrange for an initial consultation to discuss a web design brief (this can take place at your place of work, by telephone or e-mail). The initial consultation will include taking into account factors such as the nature of your business, company branding and logos, images, the look and feel of your website, colourschemes, number of web pages required, inclusion of elements such as Flash technology, online contact forms, whether you wish to integrate e-commerce into your website etc. A domain name will then be registered for your business, such as me@mybusiness.co.uk for example. At this stage a deposit will be taken.
Once the initial design brief has been agreed I will then design you a provisional home page for your approval and any changes or alterations will be made. Once approval has been made the build stage of your website begins.
