"We first worked with Janet when we appointed her to design a brand new website for our Guest House in South Devon... A website was our most important visual marketing tool so it had to be good!
Our brief to Janet was simple - to create an easy to use website that provided all the information prospective guests would want. However, there were two other major stipulations. The website had to stand out from those of our direct competitors, over 350 other accommodation providers in the area, and it had to give potential customers an insight into the ambience of our Guest House and the level of service that we provided. As we said, a simple brief!
From our initial meeting with Janet, we were impressed with her web design ideas. She was very informative about how web design worked and was very thorough in explaining the process involved and what was going to happen over the coming weeks (no jargon or tech talk!). We were involved in the design of the site at all points throughout its development, with Janet remaining very patient each time we changed our minds!
We were absolutely thrilled with the final result. Janet had exceeded our requirements by creating a stunning design and delivering it within the promised timescales. We couldn’t believe how well she had interpreted our requirements and ideas and turned them into a beautiful, bespoke website. The website created the exact image we wanted to portray to potential customers.
In addition to the design of the website, Janet also improved its web visibility through Search Engine Optimisation. We have absolutely no doubt that both the new website and its improved ranking on search engines gained our business greater exposure and, in turn, resulted in greater sales. In fact, the business was so successful that we decided to sell it at the top of our game!
When we moved from South Devon to Gloucestershire to start up a property development company, there was obviously only one person we wanted to design the new website for us, even though we were over 300 miles away! Yet again, Janet has designed the perfect, bespoke website for us! She continues to support us in the ongoing development of the site and is still patient when we decided to make even more changes to it! We really don’t know what we would do without her and we cannot recommend her highly enough.
